Our story

Blackstone Solicitors was founded in 2010 with a straightforward idea: legal work is personal, and clients deserve to know the name of the person handling it. Too often, people find themselves passed between paralegals, assistants and fee earners, repeating their story and losing track of who is actually in charge. We chose to do things differently. From the day we opened our doors, every client has been given a named solicitor who takes their matter from the first conversation through to the final resolution.

Over the years that approach has shaped everything about how we work. It is why the Legal 500 recognises us as a Leading Firm, why we hold a rating of 4.96 out of 5 across 157 verified client reviews, and why executors, families and business owners continue to recommend us to the people they care about. We are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority under number 547596, and we take the standards that come with that regulation seriously — not as a badge, but as the baseline of how a good firm should behave.

What has not changed since 2010 is the promise behind the name on the door. When you instruct Blackstone, you know who is doing the work, you know how to reach them, and you know the matter is being handled correctly. In probate especially, where the responsibility on an executor is real and the stakes can be personal, that clarity matters. It is the quiet difference our clients tell us they value most.
